In the sun-drenched countryside of Menfi, Sicily, less than a mile from the Mediterranean Sea, lies our family's small olive grove, lovingly cared for by the Lota family for five generations. It is here that our story begins.

Our olive oil is named after Agostino, our beloved grandfather (Nonno Agostino), whose life was devoted to the land and the olive trees that continue to nourish our family today. He believed that the finest olive oil could only be produced through patience, respect for nature, and treating every tree as if it were a member of the family. Those values remain at the heart of everything we do.

Our estate is home to just 600 olive trees. Of these, 200 are centuries old, while the remaining 400 are 50 years old or younger. Every tree grows exclusively on our family's property, and every bottle of Agostino Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made solely from olives harvested from our own grove.

Our oliveto is planted with three native Sicilian cultivars—Nocellara del Belice, Biancolilla, and Cerasuola—each contributing its own unique character to create a beautifully balanced extra virgin olive oil.

Every harvest is a family tradition. The olives are carefully hand-picked at their peak of ripeness and taken to the mill the very same day, where they are cold-extracted within hours to preserve their freshness, vibrant aromas, and natural antioxidants.

With only 600 trees, our production is naturally limited. Every bottle is a true small-batch, estate-grown olive oil, reflecting the care, dedication, and craftsmanship that our family has passed down from one generation to the next.

For us, these olive trees are more than agriculture—they are our family's history. They have witnessed children become parents, parents become grandparents, and traditions endure through every passing season.

Today, we continue to care for the very same trees that Nonno Agostino once walked among, honoring his legacy with every harvest.
